Brutalism has produced many fascinating architecture composed of logical geometry. Bringing this geometry into contemporary architecture can be understood as a form of 'autotransplantation.' This process, along with the development of Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPC), is not only aesthetically outstanding strategy but also advantageous in energy conservation compared to glass curtain wall buildings. In this process, it is crucial to maintain the architectural quality of the original buildings while forming a new aesthetic and ensuring functionality. This project involves the renovation of an existing office building and experiments with Rem Koolhaas's concept in a manner that strengthens the connectivity with the urban infrastructure, Seoullo 7017. Crucially, research is being conducted on a design language that encompasses all these aspects, extending from the design language of the exterior to an integrated approach with the interior, through to detailed construction.
